Artists wishing to be considered can submit a jpg of a work to the Clausen Memorial Museum by sending it to clausenmuseum@gmail.com, accompanied by a description of the work AND a description of training, awards, participation in art shows, gallery representation and any additional information that illustrates growth and a record of accomplishments in their chosen media. Artists need to ensure their address and phone number are included in the submission.

Bunnell’s flagship program opens the first Friday of every month with an artist’s reception, lecture, and demonstration workshops which are free and open to the public. A community tradition established by Bunnell Street Art Center in 1991, exhibitions continue to promote education and artistic awareness for the public, networking, exchange and professional development for Alaskan artists. Bunnell’s Visual Art Exhibition Program, has a national profile and has been funded substantially by the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation since 2006.

The Visual Arts Exhibition program is sponsored by art sales, individual donors and local business sponsors.

The Visual Arts Committee of Fairbanks Arts Association invites artists and artisans residing in Alaska to submit for review digital images of their work for possible solo, group, or curated exhibitions in the Bear Gallery for the year 2023. Every month, the Bear Gallery shows two fine arts exhibitions by Alaskan artists/artist groups working in a variety of media to local and out-of-town visitors of Fairbanks. Portfolios are reviewed by a panel of professional Alaskan artists and are chosen solely on the merit of the work samples entered.

Tidal Echoes will consider submissions from any current full-time resident of Southeast Alaska. A portion of the journal will be set aside for UAS students. Students of all UAS campuses are encouraged to submit.

Interventions/Temporary Installations Rolling Deadline The Anchorage Museum is interested in continuing dialogue and working with artists to activate spaces and conversations, as well as to feature ever-changing art forms. The Museum consistently attracts direct engagement by artists and works to curate these opportunities inside the Museum, on the lawn, out in the community and across the globe. Artist interventions take many forms, from readings, to research, conceptual gestures, protests and performances. We work with a variety of media and disciplines, in formal and informal spaces, to support artist actions that prompt, question, play with, and comment on the North, creative practice, institutional practice and relevant issues impacting the community.
